Carteret County NC is a small community on the southern shores of the outer banks. Carteret County is known for it's rich heritage, fishing, isolated and quiet beaches, diving, and lighthouses. There are two military bases located with 50 miles of Carteret County: Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point.
